Un film de Nanni Moretti

Margherita est une réalisatrice en plein tournage d’un
film dont le rôle principal est tenu par un célèbre acteur
américain. À ses questionnements d’artiste, se mêlent des
angoisses d’ordre privé : sa mère est à l’hôpital, sa fille
en pleine crise d’adolescence. Et son frère, quant à lui,
se montre comme toujours irréprochable… Margherita
parviendra-t-elle à se sentir à la hauteur, dans son travail
comme dans sa famille ?

Margherita is a filmmaker, shooting a film in which
the main part is played by a famous American actor.
To her artistic questioning are added anxieties of
a private matter : her mother is in the hospital, her
daughter is going through a teenage crisis. As for
her brother, he is, as usual, beyond reproach… Will
Margherita be up to the task in her work as in her
family ?
